Evelyne Lutton is graduated from the French Telecom Paris Engineering
School (1986), received her PhD in 1990 from Telecom Paris Doctoral
school, and her habilitation in 1999 from Orsay university.
She is researcher at INRIA since 1991.
Since 2001, she was scientific manager of the FRACTALES, COMPLEX and APIS research
teams of INRIA.
Since september 2009, she works with the AVIZ team. Her current scientific researches concern Evolutionary Algorithms, Fractals, Cooperative-coevolution, and Interactive evolution, with applications in image, signal and large datasets analysis.
- She founded the EA association in 1994, was secretary, then treasurer of this association, and now chairs the EA steering committe since 2007.
- She is involved in the organisation of the Artificial Evolution conferences serie (since 1994), and of the Fractals in Engineering conferences (since 1997). She was program chair of the EuroGP conference in 2002 and co-chairs since 2006 a Workshop on interactive evolution within the Evo* conferences annual event.
- She teaches Artificial Evolution and Fractals at ENSTA since 2000.
- She is scientific advisor and founder of the Cetoine company (an INRIA start-up)
